     This  painting is 24×8 and is done with a palette knife and has textures.

  It makes a statement and will go next to a single small place. I have it hanging by our front door. Everyone sees it.     My neighbor gave me some to plant and they did bloom before too long.  She had white ones as well.

PS   Happy Anniversary Sam, may we have many more. 57 years today. I still love you.

Art Therapy

Post 7

Today was garden therapy for me as well as part of Friday and Saturday. I weeded about half of what I need to, moved several plants around, planted some bareroot daylilies, caladium bulbs and lantana I bought before COVID and marveled at what has already started blooming and the plants that are returning.

This piece is titled "Sparrow's Garden" and shows one of our cats in my garden. My good friend has the original. She is one of those wonderful people that traps and neuter/spays feral cats and finds home for any kittens. Sparrow was one of those kittens.

Hydrangeas LAL   is done in oils on a stretched canvas. I had the pleasure of doing this painting for the LAL in Livingston.

They were very welcoming and I joined the league.  Sam and I are meeting some very lovely people since we moved.
