Sunset Bayou is a miniature daily painting done in oils. Has magnet on back to hang on Frig or you can frame. Measures 3″x 4″. It was done so I could do a larger painting for a client.
I am offering commissions on figures or portraits. The one above is my brother Buddy and Me. You can see from the small sepia photo what I used for this painting. It measures 16 x 8 and I charge by the square inch to do portraits and figures. Please email if you would like to have my paint your loved ones or pets.
I love to paint and try to paint all kinds of subjects. This is a chicken yard and we are trying to decide if we want to get some chickens in our new country home. I have discovered I really love yard eggs. I had forgotten how much better they taste than store bought eggs.
"Walking the Walk" is my version of our chicken coop. My Rooster is very colorful with his tail feathers.
The Leopard is done in oils and is framed. He was quite a challenge but I think I did well. He is available for purchase.
One of my students just completed a Leopard and I wanted to do one too. I just did the face and paws. It is framed in a white frame and he looks as tho he is about to leap out to you. This is a re-post but I still like this painting.
Fantasy Hibiscus II was done the same morning I painted my bird of paradise.. I was so excited to finally paint. I wanted Fantasy Hibiscus II to be a companion to my Bird of Paradise painting. They are framed alike. I used lots of Yellows, reds, oranges, and bright paint. Both of these floras will have a companion of a poppy that will match the color palette. Watch for it.
Bellevue Barn is set against the mountains in Colorado. The painting has palette knife textures and lots of colors. The painting measures 16"x 20" and is signed .
Flora Hydrangeas is done with oils and is very detailed. I love to do floral. I used my cut Hydrangeas to do the painting. The painting is signed and framed.
Marsh birds are done in oils and on a Raymar 2 inch panel. I have attached a hanger and painted the sides. I have signed the painting and it is ready for a new home. I see these lovely Egrets and Spoonbills all the time.
