22x13 watercolor demo painted Saturday for my workshop. To create this design, I used a fresh apple and drew it 3 different ways, then drew a rectangle behind. Filling in with darker colored values surrounding the fruit, I then did negative shapes with my brush for leaves, twigs, and apples throughout the composition. In wet areas I sanded colored pencil for textural effects.Title is pronounced "applications".
