I used it for a square in one of the CBC Art paintings.
This was painted in a class taught my Margie Whittington, one of the Canvas by Canvas members. It is my boot and yellow rose in the set up - a reminder of some great times while wearing red cowboy boots or if you prefer - cowgirl boots.
In Texas a lot of new daddies and granddaddies can't wait to buy that precious newborn that first pair of boots. Another group - some senior members enjoy them also.
I'm trying to paint a little "looser" these days going somewhere between abstraction and representation and wear my foot gear the same way. But a good pair of sensible shoes in no way can compare to the coolness of a pair of red cowboy boots with a Texas yellow rose decorating them or stuck inside.
