Oysters on the Half Shell - Coastal Art by Kristine Kainer

Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas
20 x 20 x 1.275

Here in Texas, we have delicious oysters from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Theese particular ones were from Galveston Bay. A squirt of lemon and quick dip into cocktail sauce (heavy on the horseradish) make this a welcome appetizer. Like potato chips, though, you can’t eat just one!

Another oyster.  Another delicious meal last month--slathered in cocktail sauce, horseradish (can anyone find "Gold's Horseradish" in their supermarkets?  I MUST HAVE SOME!), and the squirt of a lemon.  Briny goodness....
