Hovering Hummer

This is yesterday's daily painting, a hummer hoving over red blossoms. I used Micron 01 pen to draw its outline and watercolor when adding pigment, keeping the background abstract. Size is 6x8.5 on grey ColorSketch paper.

Laid Back kitten

Where's the Beef?

Here's yesterday's work, a half sheet (22x15) watercolor painted on handmade rough paper. I edited out the other cows that were behind her, hence the title. When dry, black India ink was used in small amounts to enhance overall effect of a dusty, grassy outdoors.

Psycho Pig

7.5x11 mixed media on Arches 140 lb cold press paper, drawn and painted yesterday.  Media used over a failed watercolor background are Derwent Inktense pencils, Caran D'Ache watersoluble wax crayons, black India ink, and Pigma Micron 01 ink to draw.
A fun pig and a little crazy, hence the title of this surreal sow.
