Because my spring workshops are full, I have opened a new 2-day workshop February 15-16.
Put a little joy in your brush and let's make flowers bloom in
brilliant colors, even though it's a bit early for spring blossoms to
appear!

Wayfarer White Roses was based on the flowers of Coronado, California, and has graced the cover of the Dallas Arboretum Adult Education Catalog and Web site. I've revived these blossoms to celebrate the announcement today of the Dallas Arboretum Blooms Festival coming up this spring. It's the best time to visit the gardens and get a few hundred photos of tulips, azaleas, pansies, daffodils, cherry blossoms, and dozens of other flowers all blooming simultaneously! It's been a great week for my little home grown art studio, and I learned today that my painting Cuties and Hydrangeas received first place for the national Bold Brush People's Choice Award contest. Thank you to everyone who voted!
