The Buffet

While we were in Cabo, I saw a lot of chefs cooking, and took a lot of photos.  This was one morning at the breakfast buffet. It was out side which made it even more fun. This is watercolor but it is painted on watercolor paper coated with gesso first. I don't think I got a true color on their faces. They aren't really this dark red. This is not my normal way of painting but is fun, and I always enjoy doing something different. It is 11x15. It will be framed to 16x20.

Coffee Time by Suzy 'Pal' Powell

When my daughter  and I went to Canton, I took all kinds of photos, of old stuff sitting around. It was a blast!   I loved these old coffee pots.  I still remember my parents using one like these.  I painted the pots back in January, not having a clue what to do to the background. I put it up not even thinking about it until last night, when I went to bed, all of a sudden it came to me, to just put a bright color wall paper type back ground. It is so weird how that works. I was not even thinking about the painting, so when I got up this morning, I went out and looked through all my papers to see what kind of design I could come up with.  This bright color won out.
It is done on 300lb hot press paper with watercolor. it will be 18x24 framed.  12.5x16.5 image size.

"Green Apples" & "Red Apples" by Texas Artist Rebecca Zook

In honor of my favorite season
TWO PAINTINGS...make me an offer for the pair.

Fall and apples go hand in hand. Apple pie, apple cider and carmel apples in particular come to my mind, but you still need the basic apple to start. These little 8" x 6" acrylic paintings would be perfect on a kitchen wall (which is where they are currently living in my house) or anywhere else. They were a little exercise in bold complimentary colors. Make me an offer on the pair.
They come framed.

(Best offer over reserve price by midnight (CST) today (Friday 10/12) gets you both. (Plus shipping if necessary). If your offer is under reserve I'll let you know. Price shown in link below is full retail for both pieces.)

Eggstra-ordinary Hen

11x15 watercolor done today on Italia 140 lb cold press paper, Daniel Smith paints. It has been quite a long time since painting one of my fun yet funky chickens with an attitude. In this vignette, the hen seems to be cackling at her three eggs or at something else beyond the coop.
