The garden is full of lovely flowers and cannot help but to pick them and bring them into the studio as models.  There is nothing better than getting to paint from nature.  All the colors that are provided by God are a feast for the eyes.  Also while painting these lovely gifts the smells in the studio where so wonderful.

Hubby gave these beautiful roses for a treat and they became models. Just love keeping him on his toes by moving the art around the house.  A couple days ago this painting showed up in the sitting room and he asked is that NEW?  Well being an artist we have the privilege to move art around the house.  It is so fun keeping him on his toes.

Entries!!! Last night I was trying to decide which of the paintings that I had painted for a competition would be the best entry. When an artist enters a competition they are putting themselves out there with a hope that they get in. It is always hard to know what the judges will be looking for and then you ask yourself am I good enough? Will they like my art? Etc. Etc. It comes down to Just Do It! My feeling is that you do art because you Love the Journey so what else really matters. www.PatMeyerdailypainter.blogspot.com
