This spring at the flower nursery my eye was fixed upon this double begonia.  It spoke to my heart so of course it had to go home with me.  The first painting of the begonia was painted in a still life set up and was so fun.  But then my thoughts turned to something a little more abstract of the flower so this piece was developed.
