Day 9 ~ Shy One Sunflower Duo by Floral Artist Nancy Medina

Shy One Sunflower Duo is the 9th painting in the 30 in 30 Challenge sponsored by Leslie Saeta, a talented artist and marketing entrepreneur from California. This was a day of stumbles and wipes in the studio. After focusing on a four foot aspen painting for the past 24 hours, my brush was having a hard time shifting into the flower gear. I gave up on a pink poppy. Then I started a red one. Then a white one. Then I started a solo white daisy. Finally I went to the store and grabbed an armload of fresh sunflowers. That seemed to do the trick. The gears stopped sticking and the clutch stopped grinding, the brush got its act together and gave me at least something at least a little less than cringe-worthy! For all of you brave souls on the 30 paintings in 30 days journey, may the muses swing sweetly for each of you!

The studio models take a bow and a dip!
