Sunbeam Sunflower Trio

Sunbeam Sunflowers is the newest painting in the studio, and will be the star of my new sunflower painting video in production. This new painting is drying on the easel, and it's the countdown to my Summer Saturday Sunflower workshop on June 23 at the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts in Irving, Texas. Five days and counting to a class dedicated purely to sunflowers, and I have just a few seats left so if you'd like to join the fun, we are going to toss our painting inhibitions to the wind and paint big and loose and create flowers the color of sunshine. With the house full of noisy flower models, snoring pugs, and the Summer Saturday countdown under way, the timing was perfect for my IMac hard drive to announce it was full and go into early retirement yesterday. Thanks to my tecchy husband and a new external hard drive, we are back up and running at a galloping 10 pug miles per hour today, and all is well! Even better, I found a wonderful picture of baby Java Cheesy the pug, and have shared it on my blog today for no other reason than the cuteness factor. You can thank me for that later, after you emit a few squees of delight....
