Every time I set up beautiful bright sunflowers their smiling faces just make me smile back at them.  The whole time painting these sunflowers it made me feel as though they brought sunshine into the studio and into my life.  How can you not just feel the warmth and glow from their faces.

Last week I purchased the yellow pansies for my class and the students loved painting them.  Well I could not resist painting them for myself.  The addition of the red flowers and little purple flowers for contrast.  I placed them in my blue garden bowl and now all I can think about is getting ready for Spring.
