Rainbow Illusion | Texas Landscape by Rebecca Zook
Art Therapy
Post 10
Rainbows signify hope and that's precisely what we need right now. The world has changed. In the end, we will mourn what has been lost and those who have been lost. We have also gained perspective as a whole about who and what should be important in our lives and that change is possible. I just hope these lessons aren't lost as normalcy returns. I have hope, they won't.
Rainbow Illusion
Acrylic on Panel | 6” x 8”
You can see it, but not touch. Purity of color. A hidden door opened and reality revealed, but Is it real? Seek it and get no closer. Science and dreams. Logic and emotion collide when chasing rainbows.

"Wind Dancing" by Texas Artist Rebecca Zook
I wish I could capture sound in my paintings. The rustling of the seed pods as they dance in the wind says "Fall is near" to my ears. The swaying stalks these dancers clung to surrounded me completely as I photographed their movements; looking for the perfect angle of light to illuminate the pods. The challenge was to capture the essence of the movement in paint using the limited color palette. I'm pleased with the result.
