Shea Baby by Kay Wyne

Shea Baby
24" x 30" Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas
I was looking at this painting, remembering Shea and what a great dog she was.  I really enjoyed painting this one.  I used wide brushes, plenty of paint, and wanted to get her full of life personality on the canvas.  Currently we have three grand-doggies and I might need to paint one of them.  When the dogs are so active, it is necessary to work off of photographs.  So putting a few photograph sessions is on my to-do list.  Contact Kay Wyne with any questions or comments on this color and fun painting.  Thanks for looking...Kay

Shea Baby by Kay Wyne

Shea Baby
30" x 24" Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas
Contemporary Oil Painting
Shea was our third lab, and a great dog.  She was always fetching a tennis ball.  I used bold brush strokes on the canvas, and kept the painting loose.  This painting is one of my favorites because I captured Shea's personality.  I probably need to do another pet portrait of Penny Lane and Gurl.  Even though they don't get along.  Happy day after Thanksgiving...we will be putting the Christmas tree up!  Contact Kay for more information on my animal paintings.  Kay

Shea Baby by Kay Wyne

Shea Baby
30" x 24" Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas
Contemporary Dog Painting
I was looking through my paintings yesterday and came across one of my favorites, "Shea Baby".  I loved painting this dog...she was a beautiful yellow lab, who always had her tennis ball, ready to play.  I used wide brushes, bold strokes and exaggerated the colors.  Contact Kay for more information on this painting....or any other paintings posted here.  Thanks, Kay

Shea Baby

Contemporary Oil Painting
This is a painting that I have always liked since it is one of the three labs we have had in our family.  We are without any pets right now...this painting is a reminder of how Shea was always retrieving a tennis ball and wanting to play, play, play.  Wide brushstrokes and bold colors make this painting one of my favorites.  Thanks for viewing....kay@kwyne.com.  KMW

Shea Baby by Kay Wyne

Shea Baby is a wonderful dog, full of personality and zip. The Texas heat has her strength zapped today, but as you can see in this contemporary painting, she is a wonderful dog, eager to please her master...or masters. Shea is our thirteen year old yellow Lab. Lately she has gotten very sassy and rules at our house. She has always had alot of life, and I wanted to convey that "spark" that she has on the canvas. This canvas has wide brushstrokes, and is a very bold painting. I like the colors and the energy on this canvas. It is on a 24" x 30" Gallery Wrap Canvas...ready to hang.
