I was looking at this painting, remembering Shea and what a great dog she was. I really enjoyed painting this one. I used wide brushes, plenty of paint, and wanted to get her full of life personality on the canvas. Currently we have three grand-doggies and I might need to paint one of them. When the dogs are so active, it is necessary to work off of photographs. So putting a few photograph sessions is on my to-do list.
