Earlier in the week I painted the sunflower models and they were all so well behaved and acted like the perfect sunflower models.  After listening to rock and roll music and having the nice cool breeze of fall come into the studio they started looking a little wild.  So before they wilted I decided to paint their portrait like they are now.  Wild!

During this time of the year about the only thing blooming in the garden are my sweet little pansies.  Many times I wish I could be just like them.  They have all kinds of adversity placed on them but even after the most difficult of times they spring back with confidence.  We are all waiting on Spring to arrive to give us a Renewing Spirit on life.  May we each find our ways to cope such as the small beautiful smiling faces of the pansies.
