Blissfully Content Sunflowers and Lazy Daisies was finished around 2 am, three hours before it was time to get up and go to the office and start the day job. Sometimes when I get in the zone, I simply cannot stop - and the white gerbera daisies were looking so cute and fresh and producing all kinds of interesting golden and green shadow tones. When the paint starts flowing like that, I hate to walk away. Sometimes I wake up the next morning and the muse has been muted! Speaking of the zone, there is no place more divine to paint than the Dallas Arboretum, and I'm excited to be heading there to teach again on Saturday to a full class! For everyone who will be joining me June 9, be prepared - I found a new donut shop that makes the BEST glazed I've ever tasted!
For those waiting for an update on the release of my first sunflower video, hubby finished the downloading and is working on the editing now! Because you've been so patient and been so kind not to mention my recent sunflower obsession, there is another step by step sunflower demo on my art blog today for you. Enjoy!
The debut of the little red bowl!
