4.25 x 7 inches on Saunders watercolor paper 140 lb cold press. From my Las Vegas Flamingo Hilton photo, this Mandarin duck was swimming on very clear water over a huge orange-yellow koi. This painting is probably going to be at the Arboretum Garden Gallery. It was my second koi painting, and I was very nervous about the green. Since I tend to "over-paint" on green, I was very careful not to get green paint on the fish. The water at the Koi Pond in the Arboretum was very green, even though my eye wanted to paint blue.
