This piece has been so interesting to paint.  It started out as just a simple demo to show the strong glow on the pot and grew into a learning project for many.  Would it be wonderful to have a piece that you can study and look at many different techniques well this is the piece.  Back glow, knife, dry brushing, strong edge work color zones etc all in this one piece.

BLUE GLOW BY ARTIST PAT MEYER

This was something new for me to work out of my comfort zone and go for lots of drama.  It must have been a drama kind of day.  Love the big blue vase contrasted by the bright colors of the sunflower, orange slice and green little vase.  A play on light and dark.  If you are looking for Drama than this piece is for you.
