Was wandering through the yard trying to decide what to paint on this hot steamy day.  The flowers from the different plants were selected and now time to head to the studio to have fun with my new models.  After selecting a layered composition and what was going to be my focal area time to paint these lovely creations.

This is a work in progress.  Wanted to show you that I work from life and make adjustments as I go along such as changing the vase from glass to more of pottery type.  Felt it would provide more drama to the piece and reflective quality to the art.  Still have one more day on this piece before finished.
