Rendezvous Red Geraniums is the newest painting drying on the easel in Flower Mound Studio, as we wind down a busy few weeks and look forward to a beautiful weekend. My geraniums are blooming, new irises are about to open, all is right with the world in my back yard garden. I've been filling up my inventory of small daily paintings, but tonight just felt the need to paint bigger and bolder, using my 3/4 inch flat brush for the entire painting, from start to finish.
The studio models take a bow!
