For this transparent
watercolor I used Winsor Newton watercolor paint on 140# arches water
color paper. It was started with an under-painting of yellows, reds,
blues, greens. I painted negatively around the fish and seaweed with
blues and greens. The fish just jumped out and a several were painted
with a few little details.
