This was painted at Big Rock Park in Glen Rose, Texas. The drought is stressing the trees out and they are giving the appearance of fall. The morning sun was rising and cast a beautiful glow on the trees and dying bushes.
There are plans for members of the Outdoor Painting Society to paint in Glen Rose September 16, 17. There are plenty of inspiration in this small town. I hope to see you there.
