Another Daisy Kinda Day 6x6 oil on panel "Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is. It's the way we cope with it that makes the difference." What do they say, attitude is everything? I am in the process of gathering my thoughts for some future paintings. In the meantime~last night I was wondering why we blog. Like everywhere else in the U.S., we're getting ice and snow. For my birthday in December, my friends bought me a selection of canvases of various sizes. This one is an 8 by 8 by 1.5 inches deep gallery wrapped canvas. I think the snow has influenced my choice of colors as I kept it soft and white.

I'm happy these days.
Just plain, silly, giddy, joyfully happy. Ok, so they've discontinued my favorite perfume...big deal. It's raining outside; we need it. I have to postpone a trip to a friend's house because of scheduling conflict; my friend said - not a problem, so that's working out. I think it's attitude, don't you?
Little white flowers make me happy too. This photo of the painting came out a little darker but maybe it's my monitor. Hmmm it's almost like the song, "My favorite things" from Mary Poppins? These are a few of my favorite things...
