White Pansies and Bunny
11x15 watercolor of a simple impromptu still life in my studio windowbox; rabbit head was broken off a garden statue and the white pansies were amongst the colored ones last spring. Happy New Year!!!

Snowmaggedon...and you thought you had it bad...

It's a long story...
so rather than take up the entire screen here, if you'd like to read the tale of 2 humans, 3 parrots, 5 cats and 5 dogs holed up in one room with a broken furnace, frozen shower and toilet pipes during an ice storm, please click here to visit my blog.
About the painting:
This piece I just saw in my head one day. Many ideas come specifically when I'm not thinking about painting. The snow scene is from our back yard. It just needed rabbits. There were 2 snow bunnies originally. One I had standing on his hind legs and it just seemed to throw the design off. So after some deliberation and outside input, *poof* he was gone...down the rabbit hole, perhaps, to see Alice.
