 Open Sky Poppy Field is the newest work in the studio. I'm preparing prints and favorite scenes from the Dallas Arboretum for my landscape workshop on Friday - I can hardly wait to create floralscapes with my students! Yesterday I promised to share a new tip I discovered on the Internet that shows how to reinvigorate tired, droopy hydrangeas. I have buckets of these cut beauties who were feeling the effects of the spotlight after spending the weekend serving as models for my students in Irving, Texas. I wanted to paint these expensive blossoms again, but they were so wilted I had my doubts that the instructions I found would really work. Read more....
