Salsa by Food Artist Kristine Kainer

Oil on Gallery-Wrapped Canvas
20x20

Though summer has ended, autumn has still not taken hold of central Texas.  My garden continues to produce tomatoes and peppers of all kinds.  Also, my little potted lemon tree is, in reality, a lime tree.  What better way to celebrate the vibrant flavors of this produce than to make salsa?

Frying Egg by Kristine Kainer

Oil on Gallery-Wrapped Canvas
20 x 20

This egg is from my suburban chicken, Creampuff. Her eggs are exquisite (especially the golden yolks) and worthy of immortalization in art. This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around the sides. It comes ready to hang.
