This was painting for the Fourth Annual Artist of Texas Show last year and I totally forgot it was at the gallery in Dallas. I picked it up as I am beginning to put new things in for the Fifth Annual Show.  This unusual Longhorn Painting is full of 'HORNS'.... so I called it Horning In.  With football season starting up I could not resist listing this one reduced special this fall on the CFAI.co website.

I never run out of models. My neighborhood is full of horses and cattle. By "neighborhood" I mean within 100 miles of my house. This particular cow is developing a nice set of highly coveted twisted horns. I don't know what the record is, but over 6 feet happens frequently in some breed lines.
