I can honestly say that this painting was painted from the heart. It wasn't hard to paint. It didn't take long. It just came out of me. And it makes me smile, just as our family news on Sunday. I wanted to paint something beautiful and lasting....so I went through my reference photos decided on a still life, and picked out a limited color palette of grays, greens and violets. And just let it go. The paint is applied with the knife and is really thick and textured. This painting is drying at the studio. Contact Kay Wyne for information on this painting.
