Contemporary Landscape Painting
This painting started with a photograph taken by my husband years ago. I liked the road, and the hint of flowers along the countryside. I don't know where the photo was taken, but I took my artistic license and changed the colors, but wanted the long road to disappear into the horizon. The color palette is somewhat toned down for me...but I enjoyed experimenting with the lavenders, magentas and olive greens.
