Live Oak in Spring by Kristine Kainer

Spring in the Hill Country of Texas is glorious.  Wildflowers such as bluebonnets, Indian paintbrush, and evening primroses blanket the landscape in a kaleidoscope of colors.  This painting attempts to capture the remarkable beauty of the landscape at this time of year after the dreary doldrums of winter.
