Knock Out Roses

It was my turn to gallery set at Shanley House during the Lake Granbury Art Association Spring Festival of Art show. I brought the roses from my garden, set up this still life and got to work. I used the brush and thinned down paint to wash the background in. I drew the roses in with a brush and added thick paint with a palette knife developing the roses. It was created all in one setting.
