Rise and Fall Sunflowers is the newest painting in Flower Mound Studio, and it is a bit of a race against time to capture these pansies while they are still fresh, still standing tall, in their tiny pots on my work bench. While out in the yard this evening, I noticed George the tree lizard perched inside the large trash can, about to fall into the bags and bags of detritus destined for the garbage truck on Thursday.
