Fly Away Red Daisy and a Flower Stroll by Texas Artist Nancy Medina

Fly Away Red Daisy is one of the small demos from my workshop in Fredericksburg, Texas, last weekend. The historic Hill Country Town was full of flowery inspiration, and it's where I landed right after returning from my show in Coronado, CA. I've been earning my frequent flower flyer miles this spring! Now that I'm back in the studio, I wanted to share more photos with you of the second place winning home from the April 2012 Coronado Island Flower Show. Take a peek at my blog to see the photos!

I think the home I featured on my blog won second place because the gardens, and the home, are located behind a wall. To see the gardens, you have to park and walk through the front gates (where a little yellow sticky invites flower garden admirers to step inside!). You should have seen Carlos' face when I went strolling through the front gates just like I lived there. Priceless!
