Fall Creek at El Tesoro by Sheri Jones

I painted this today at El Tesoro Camp in Granbury, Texas. I met 9 other artist there to paint. This is a camp for children and we were fortunate to get special permission to paint there. This was set up a month ago by Claudia Davis and Maryann Brommer when the weather was unseasonably warm. Today we had winter weather with temperatures only reaching the 41 for the high. I dressed like I was going snow skiing and did fine. We were low on the river protected from the wind. It turned into a great day for those willing to brave the cool weather.
