"Fran's Party" by Judy A. CroweLast week I spent several days in Brenham Texas hoping to paint the wildflowers. Since we have had such a cold winter, the wildflowers were pretty much nonexistent. I am hoping to go back in a couple of weeks when the bluebonnets are out and hopefully the weather will cooperate a little better. The week was not lost though with a chance to catch up with good friends. There were quite a few members of the Outdoor Painter's Society there and we had a great time Saturday in LaNell Arndt's studio painting together. I feel so blessed to have such sweet friends. Fran Ellisor, Rose Hohenberger, Elaine Monnig, Kathrine Spena, Carrie Ballard, Peggy Kingsbury, LaNell Arndt, Bob Rohm, Dave Bates, Joe Collard, Caroline Ratcliff, Marchita Priest, just to name a few. I only came home with two paintings that are halfway decent but I painted and it was good.
