"Corpus Floral #2"16x20 acrylic on paper mounted on a gallery wrapped canvas
I went to a fun workshop with Robert Burridge in Corpus Christi last October. Read more about it HERE. I had gessoed my paper with Daniel Smith's gold gesso and painted acrylics over it (loosely) and some can still be seen in places and painted with the gesso some. I do love that sparkly look and I added some touches of line work. I didn't use any reference material and I enjoy painting this way - taking a little risk in not knowing the outcome.
