After spending this week in Santa Fe, I had to paint

the colorful landscape.  We flew back to the Texas

heat and humidity last night, so I got up this morning

and went to the studio to paint.  Had to paint that 

beautiful landscape of New Mexico.

This painting is loaded with color and texture,

and I am covered in paint as I blog!

Floral Abstract
Today's posting is a palette knife painting on a 8" x 10" cotton panel. It is a fun, bright painting with layers of paint. It will take months for this one to dry completely. I hope to get into the studio and work on some mixed media today. Yesterday was not very productive in the studio. My time was too short.
