Love Abounds Hydrangea Painting and Art Studio Necessities by Nancy Medina

Love Abounds Blue and White Hydrangeas
12X30
Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Love Abounds Hydrangeas was my demonstration in Flower Mound, Texas, yesterday. Once I got this new painting home without smudging the interior of the Highlander, the next challenge was photographing it! Taking a picture of a long, long painting can be a bit tricky, but the hubby stepped in and gave me a helping hand.

The hot chocolate mocha studio supplies also helped get me through a wintry, cold day - the sleet and ice came down nonstop in North Texas. I had to replenish the pile o' whippy creme several times on my mocha, however. A gal has gotta do, what a gal has gotta do!

SOLD ~ Sun and Sky Poppies by Texas Flower Artist Nancy Medina

Sun and Sky Poppies

SOLD

16X12
Oil on Archival Panel

Sun and Sky Poppies was painted today 'neath the East Texas sunshine while visiting my Mother's farm. The family is celebrating the addition of a new member, my sister Julie married her beau, Gary, in a beautiful lakeside ceremony yesterday. It was a small wedding, only 50 or so guests, including Gary's brother Kenneth, the founder and owner of Rtistx archival art panels, my absolute favorite painting surface. Now we just need a veterinarian and hairdresser in the family, and if someone could also marry a member of the Rembrandt dynasty, I'd be all set!

SOLD ~ Stargazing With Stargazers in Flower Mound Studio by Texas Artist Nancy Medina

Stargazers and Pear
by Nancy Medina

SOLD
16X12
Oil on Archival Panel

Stargazers were on sale at the grocery store flower market day before yesterday for $2 a bunch. Each bunch had three bundles of stems, and each stem had half a dozen flowers. I'll let you imagine what my house smells like right now! Then I found this very good looking pear. I'm sure the checker at the counter added one more little token to the pile of crazy chips she automatically thinks of when she sees me trundling up her line with flowers instead of groceries. Here I was with flowers, chocolate, and one fat pear. A pear that is looking extremely yummy to me right now, so I had better wash up and leave the studio before the pear faces a sad demise...

The studio model pear rolls over!
