This was created as a color study for a larger piece.  I like to start small and work out color and design before tackling a big canvas.  The location for the inspiration is a farm house in Italy. It was on a drive with Scott Williams and Niki Gulley with Art Treks.  Our first trip with this talented couple.

This is a sacred space of Van Gogh and from the gardens at the sanitarium he stayed at in Arles, France.  We traveled with Scott Williams and Niki Gulley of Art Treks and had a wonderful time visiting this charming village.
