Sunny Life, New Contemporary Painting by Sheri Jones

I created this when the sun was warm and flowers were blooming. It was painted plein air and was a joy to create.  I am looking forward getting outside  to garden and paint. 
Today I am packing up for  my next art event. 
I'm giving an art demonstration Monday night with the Weatherford Art Association.  They meet at the Barlow Hall at All Saints Anglican Church and start at 6:00 pm

I continue my attempt to capture a beautiful sunrise on canvas. Each one is a learning experience and still challenges me.  I love the light touch of color the breaking sun makes on the landscape.  Painting in layers, this painting is filled with texture and color. Enjoy!
