It is so wonderful to have several different rose bushes in the garden providing all types of color.  The colors reminded me of sherbet.  Cool and lovely types of roses from the English rose, Cabbage rose, wild rose and antique roses.

Osage Flower Garden by artist Pat Meyer

It is a cold and icy day here at the studio but the flowers are standing proud and ready to do a great job of modeling.  This past summer took photos of the Osage Flower Garden.  Now the flowers are purchased and the photo reference is used to help create the painting.  All the beauty of Osage County is represented in this painting.
