Flying Solo Poppy is the newest painting in the studio, as poppy mania continues in Flower Mound this week. I won't be flying solo for my art show at the Dallas Arboretum, thankfully. Artscape will open Friday morning at 9 am on March 16, and run for three full days, closing Sunday afternoon at 5 pm. I sure hope you will stop by my Booth 44 and say hello. I promise you'll be able to pick me out of a crowd, since I pushed my hair back last night with a paintbrush loaded with alizarin crimson.

Carlos, the hubby, has promised to be on hand to provide essential tent construction tasks, pick out the sound track for the little portable music player, and ensure the crazy artist/wife is able to remain at least partially focused, since she is unable to talk and chew gum at the same time. Unfortunately, the studio assistants will have to stay home, out of the public eye, since the arboretum is particular about pugs peeing on tulips (as they should be!). I absolutely love being at the Arboretum for a show during Dallas Blooms, hundreds of acres of tulips and every flower your heart desires will be in full bloom! It will be like a flower-palooza-stravaganza!
