Heavenly Blossoms Hydrangeas hopped onto the canvas pretty quickly today, and I have no real explanation for that. I had been wanting to paint white hydrangeas again for quite some time and went flower shopping tonight, for sunflowers. Not a single sunflower was available in the grocery store. But to my delight, one last solitary white hydrangea bundle was saying "Come hither...." and so I hithered on over there and bought the expensive thing!

The helpers are snoozing, evening temperatures are cooling off, and all is well in Flower Mound Studio. How are you surviving the summer? I hope you are not getting the heat we are! These hydrangeas are not fans of the heat, and I'll be interested to see if they are still fresh tomorrow for another modeling session. They were not cheap, and they have to earn their keep! Visit my art blog to see the models!
