I've done exactly one bluebonnet painting in my life. I know it's THE Texas wildflower, and I love them, but really, they don't last long. The paintbrushes last longer, but the coreopsis and other yellow flowers not only bloom through Spring, but tough out the heat of a Texas Summer. I think my heart truly lies with them.
