Arboretum Dreamer was originally intended to be a white hydrangea, but the blues and light violet hues drew me to a different conclusion. I discovered last year that the Dallas Arboretum posts a regular schedule of what's in bloom on their Web site, so I've marked my calendar for some momentous events to come:

Tulips in bloom
Hydrangeas in bloom
Roses in bloom
Hyacinth in bloom
Cherry blossom bloom time
Azaleas in bloom

It would be much simpler to put on my calendar "The Dallas Blooms Festival," since most of the color in the garden occurs then, during the March event that draws thousands of visitors each year. I get so excited just thinking about it! All those blooms to photograph...so little time! The take away lesson, I have to start storing these photos on something other than my home computer, since it is almost full!
