I've been studying roses this week, and they seem to be the most fragile flowers, fading much more quickly than the daisies I purchased the same day. The roses were fresh and perky on the afternoon I brought my treasured blossoms home from the grocery store. Today you can see on my blog, they are beginning to droop a bit. I seem to have an easier time painting older flowers. The droop gives them character, I think!
