I would be hard pressed to explain where this painting came from, except it leapt onto the canvas as if it had been waiting for quite some time to make its debut from my imagination. I've been infatuated with garden scenes lately, and the stonework seemed a nice warm contrast to the cold greens of the geraniums. I thought about putting a few little chickens in here. What do you think? Should I? I have been known to be persuaded easily when it comes to cute little chickens.
