ALOHA 30"x22" transparent watercolor

ALOHA
30"x22" Transparent Watercolor
by Debbie Cannatella

Since moving to Corpus Christi I have had the chance to not only enjoy the diversity of tropical flowers, but I have been innundated with dozens of sketches and photos of wonderful painting compositions. I can't quite stay on top of all I want to paint. This Hawaiian plumeria was grown for many years in the backyard of the family of a friend of mine in Tyler, Texas. I was always amazed that it weathered the colder winters there. The scent was heavenly.
